Matt Slifko

Biography

Matt Slifko is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Statistics at Penn State.

He received his PhD in Statistics from Virginia Tech in 2019. He received his MS in Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006, and a BS in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2004.

Slifko’s interests include statistics and data science education, statistical collaboration, and undergraduate research. His research deals with clustering and predictive modeling in the presence of anomalous data.
