Jay Brown

Graduate Student

Jay is a 2nd-year PhD student in the Department of Statistics at Penn State.

He earned his bachelor's in finance in 2016 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and his masters in applied statistics in 2017 at Penn State. His research interests include analyzing high-dimensional data and functional data analysis, with an application to genomic data.

In his free time, Jay enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and playing video games.
