Biography

Donald Richards is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Statistics at Penn State University.  His research interests include multivariate statistical analysis, probability inequalities, and special functions of matrix argument.

Richards obtained his Ph.D. in 1978 at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

Richards is a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
