Dive into the wonders of the natural world with Nature Explorers: Cycles Galore! Designed for curious rising second and third graders, this camp invites young adventurers to embark on a journey of hands-on exploration and discovery. Through open-ended activities, campers will learn about natural cycles, from the water cycle to plant growth, all while developing their observation skills. Each day is filled with exciting challenges, including the ultimate quest to gather knowledge and teamwork to thwart the nefarious Dr. Destruction and his plans to eliminate trees from campus! Campers will also collect real scientific data and submit their findings to citizen science projects—contributing to important environmental research—as well as conduct their own stream study. Join us for a week of fun, learning, and environmental stewardship!

Nature Explorers: Habitat Quest

Welcome to Nature Explorers: Habitat Quest, where rising fourth and fifth graders will delve deep into the fascinating ecosystems that surround us! This camp is designed for older participants ready for longer excursions and more in-depth exploration, but attending Nature Explorers: Cycles Galore previously is not required. Campers will engage in experiential learning, investigating various habitats and the unique plants and animals that are native to Pennsylvania. Participants will also collect real scientific data and submit it to citizen science projects, making a meaningful contribution to environmental research. With a focus on ecosystems and environmental stewardship, this camp features field trips, laboratory experiments, and our popular stream-study day. Join us for an unforgettable week of discovery, teamwork, and fun as we learn to protect our planet!
