A Community Science Event

Exploration-U is a large-scale community science program that focuses on innovative, hands-on science activities led by collaborations between Penn State faculty and students, local school district administrators, teachers, and students, and community businesses and partners. Events take place at Bald Eagle Area Middle/High School, Bellefonte Area High School, and State College Area High School.
 
*Exploration-U is canceled for the fall of 2021 due to COVID-19 risks.*

How to get involved:

Science-Related Community Organizations & Businesses: If you'd like a table at an Exploration-U event, email the Office of Science Outreach with your org's name, how many people are attending, and what sort of science demos you plan on bringing.

PSU Faculty, Staff, and Students: The Office of Science Outreach is always look for lab groups, departments, and student groups to get involved with Exploration-U and other outreach events. Please contact the Office of Science Outreach, and we will meet with you to discuss outreach options!

Teachers and Students: Contact your school's science department if you want to table at Exploration-U. If your school does not have an Exploration-U event, and you wish to start one, feel free to contact the Office of Science Outreach to discuss the possibility. Availability is dependent on yearly program load and other logistical constraints.
