Biography

Yubai Yuan is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Penn State.

Yuan received his PhD in Statistics from UIUC in 2020. He received his MS in Statistics from Sun Yat-sen University in 2016, and a BS in Mathematics from Shandong University in 2012.

His research focuses on complex network analysis, causal inference, and optimal transport with their application to neuron dynamics study. His other research interests are community detection, link prediction, mediation analysis, active learning, crowdsourcing.
