Biography:

Abby is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Penn State. She graduated in 2021 from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Mathematics with a focus on 5-Adult mathematics education and minors in statistics and economics. Her research is in the field of statistics education, focusing on student interactions with other individuals in their learning environment: their instructors, teaching assistants, and peers. Her interest is in how these interactions affect student performance and sense of belonging.
