Information Technology Services

(ITS) provides the backbone of Penn State's information technology infrastructure. Their services extend support the work of all students, faculty and staff at Penn State regardless of campus location.

Here are a handful of the services that all Penn State students should be aware of:

  1. CANVAS (psu.instructure.com)
    Most or all of your courses will be listed so that instructors can share information with all students.
  2. Your ITS Profile (www.work.psu.edu)
    ITS's 'One-Stop' Information Site for you!  
  3. Penn State Wireless (wireless.psu.edu)
    The wifi service 'psuwirelesssetup' will only allow access to the address above where you can authenticate using your Penn State Access Account userid and pwd then select, download and install the software or certificate you need to access Penn State's widely available 'psu' wireless access service.
  4. PASS Space - Penn State Access Account Storage Space

    ITS allocates online storage of digital files for all students, faculty and staff. Increase your PASS quota to 10 GB today! (Use www.work.psu.edu to do this.)

    Activate your Penn State Web space so that part of your PASS Storage Space is published to the internet.

  • Sites@PSU (sites.psu.edu) - Use this web publishing service to build a website to connect with colleagues, course projects or family.
  • Download Software (downloads.its.psu.edu) - access to important software for Penn State individuals.
  • The Penn State Software (software.psu.edu) - discounts for popular software used at Penn State.
  • Lynda (lynda.psu.edu) - Free online tutorials on many software applications.
