Calling all future doctors, nurses, physician assistants, and healthcare heroes! Spend a week in the lab for the Penn State Premed Experience, where science meets medicine. Each day, campers will explore a different body system—skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, nervous, and more—through exciting, hands-on activities. You’ll conduct real experiments and perform dissections on authentic animal tissue such as the heart, brain, and lungs. Working together in medical teams, you’ll use what you learn to solve daily medical mysteries and make your own diagnoses. Ready to see what it’s like to be in medicine? Please note that on the final day of camp, dismissal typically occurs earlier than 4:00 p.m.
Some camps may also include a closing ceremony or showcase for families on the final day. Specific dismissal times and event details will be shared with families closer to the start of camp.
Location: University Park
Lunch and Snacks: Campers will eat lunch in the dining commons Monday through Friday.
