Optical Odyssey Camp

About the Program

July 28–31, DAY CAMP, Grades 7–9

Dive into the fascinating world of optics and optical illusions at the Optical Odyssey camp! We will merge physics, geometry and creativity to explore how we can trick our eyes and brains with surprising visual effects. Through hands-on projects and experiments, participants will learn to design their own illusions while uncovering the math and science behind them. Get ready for a week of fun, discovery, and mind-bending creativity in the looking glass world! (note: completion of 5th grade level math or an understanding of how to measure angles and use properties of adjacent angles to solve problems is highly recommended prior to this camp)
