Marc Counterman, M.Ed.

I have a B.S. in Secondary Education (Chemistry) from Penn State University (Class of 2015) and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (Higher Education) from North Dakota State University. I have three years of teaching experience at the high school level, worked in college admission at North Dakota State University for one year, and worked in TRIO Student Support Services as a STEM Education Specialist for two years. In this role I taught courses for Math Study Strategies and Study Skills. As a first-generation college student, I hope to assist students achieve college success and move on to professional schooling in my position as a pre-health adviser in the Eberly College of Science. 

Outside of academia, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Stacy, and my dog, a golden retriever named Flash. I am a big football and soccer fan!  I also love running and have run in 3 half marathons and numerous 5Ks and 10Ks.
