What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
The continuous innovation toward treatments and potential cures for severe disease states. Being at the cutting edge of research and clinical trial data to inform further developments. The need for continued advances in health equity.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black History Month is a celebration of the efforts that those before us made to get us to this point, and a reminder of how much work still needs to be done to continue to advance Black people across industries, professions, and borders.
