What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?

Through my interest in natural hair care, I have noticed a lot of advice that isn't science-based circling the internet and making managing natural hair more complicated than it actually is for Black women and men. From this interest, I have started a career that aims to address concerns and communicate science-based solutions surrounding public health issues.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Black History Month gives us the opportunity to reflect and gain an understanding of the Black experience in America. And from this reflection, we hope to build a better and more inclusive society.
