Biography

Sarah is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at Penn State. She received her B.S. in Statistics with an additional major in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University in 2018. Sarah's research interests include uncertainty quantification in classification and clustering, with applied interests in astrostatistics.

In her spare time, Sarah is a semi-professional violinist and enjoys glass engraving, hiking, and consuming large amounts of Trader Joe's Mint Ice Cream Mouthfuls.
