Research Interests

I am interested in the processes that affect ecological and environmental systems, more specifically in understanding how infectious disease dynamics are altered by environmental factors, like climate, and by within host processes, such as the infection with other parasites/pathogens.

I use modeling tools and analytical approaches to develop epidemiological models of infection and transmission that take into account both host immune response and environmental factors. I am keen to develop my computational skills to address some of the pressing questions in infectious disease dynamics and control.
