Eberly College of Science Distinguished Service Award
Many of the staff and faculty of our college work hard for the success of our students.

The Eberly College of Science Distinguished Service Award was established in 1979 to recognize individuals who have made significant and outstanding leadership and service contributions to the Eberly College of Science over a sustained period of time.

All members of the Eberly College of Science community are eligible for the award. This award is intended to recognize sustained service and efforts to promote the excellence of the College.

Contributions may have been made in promoting the following:

  • Scholarship
  • Research
  • Outstanding Teaching
  • Program Development
  • Student Relations
  • Alumni Relations
  • Other activities that promote excellence within the College

Past recipients of the award have included active and retired faculty, administrative staff, alumni and friends of Penn State Science.

The annual deadline is August 31

The letters should highlight the specific leadership and service accomplishments of the nominee.

The award will be presented at the Fall Celebrate Science event
