Title: Weak lensing with the Hyper Suprime-Cam Survey – and beyond!

Abstract: Weak gravitational lensing is one of the most sensitive probes of the growth of structure in the Universe, and is therefore a key part of the cosmological community's program for understanding the nature of dark energy.  It is also a powerful probe of the connection between the visible components of galaxies and galaxy clusters, and the underlying dark matter.  The past few years have seen advances in weak lensing measurements with surveys such as the Hyper-SuprimeCam (HSC) Survey, which is unique in its depth and imaging quality compared to other ground-based weak lensing surveys. In this talk, I will describe recent HSC survey results, along with work on weak lensing method development aimed at resolving the challenges in this field and unlocking the scientific discovery potential of upcoming surveys such as the Rubin Observatory Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST).
