What motivates you to do science?
I'm motivated by uncovering how molecular and metabolic mechanisms shape aging, disease, and regeneration, and by translating these insights into interventions that improve human health and expand equitable access to scientific discovery.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black History Month to me represents a time of the year where we come together and acknowledge the contributions African Americans have made on the world. Culture, food, and technology have been shaped by African Americans and will continue for centuries.
