What motivates you to do science?

There has always been something oddly intriguing about a system that lacks a sense of equilibrium. Understanding the principles that govern these systems can be demanding but worthwhile and is, at heart, the reason I chose to research soft matter physics.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

This month, originally condensed into a week of recognition 100 years ago, serves as an important reminder to all of the immeasurable contributions Black people have made to society. This month, I would like to honor those in the past who suffered so that I could succeed.
