Hello! My name is Kelsey Cagle and I am from Belmont, North Carolina. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor is Criminal Justice.
I decided to pursue an MPS in Forensic Science here at Penn State due to the opportunities this program offers. The exciting and challenging course load piqued my interest, as well as the hands-on learning atmosphere.
My research is focused on performing both cannabinoid/potency and incurred pesticides analyses in cannabis and cannabis products. My future career goal is to work for the DEA as a forensic drug chemist. Outside of forensics, some of my interests include traveling, rocking out to boyband music, and binge watching the food network.
