Volunteering and Work Study

Looking for volunteer work or work study? Outreach and Science Engagement hosts several programs that serve as not-for-profit organizations. Prospective Penn State student employees (both undergraduate and graduate) should complete the FAFSA and eLion "Request for Summer Work Study" to determine eligibility for the America Reads Program.

Employment Opportunities

We offer summer employment through the summer science camp program, Science-U. Science-U is the largest K-12 science outreach program at Penn State. We are seeking science teachers, camp curriculum mentors, program facilitators, and evening mentors.
