Any direct signature of a weakly interacting dark matter candidate has not been detected yet at the high-energy colliders or in direct search experiments. Detection becomes even more difficult if its mass is close to, or higher than a TeV.  On the other hand, pair-annihilation or decay of dark matter particles in dark matter dense astrophysical objects like dwarf spheroidal galaxies may give rise to electron/positron pairs which in turn lead to radio synchrotron signals. In this talk we will see that the upcoming radio telescope Square Kilometre Array (SKA) has the potential to observe these radio signals for dark matter masses not only at the GeV scale but also beyond a TeV. In addition, we will also discuss how one can use the current and upcoming radio observations to constrain the coupled parameter space of particle physics and galactic astrophysics.
