Travel, housing and a generous stipend are provided.
The University of Massachusetts Medical School Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity is a non-credit, ten-week, structured research experience.
The program consists of "hands-on" laboratory research experience with an investigator serving as a mentor, role model and advisor.
Sponsored by the Office of School Services, the Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity program is funded by either the National Institute of Health (NIH) or the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) UMMS Office of Research.
