Treating Medical Errors:A Colloquium by Penn State Law

This interdisciplinary event features pediatric medical residents from Penn State's Milton S. Hershey Children's Hospital and students from Penn State Law.
Together, the parties work through a medical malpractice trial with pediatricians being both witnesses in the case and consultants to their assigned legal teams. The morning session will be the moot trial of the case, and "jurors" will deliberate over lunch. After the jury announces its verdict, the remainder of the afternoon session will be devoted to an interdisciplinary discussion.
Registration for this event is open to members of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Children's Hospital community and to members of the Penn State / Law community, including faculty, staff, and students. A luncheon is provided for those who register.
