Students in the program take two six-week summer courses in the Academic Phase, and are placed in a full-time summer internship in the Boston area during the Internship Phase. Students also participate in a 2-credit Internship Course throughout the program.
The Boston University Summer Study Internship Program is open to visiting, non-Boston University undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of college by the start of the program. Students must be in good academic and judicial standing with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
The Summer Study Internship Program is open only to U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents.
Applications to the Summer Study Internship Program are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible. The deadline for all applications is May 6, 2011. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.
